Movie Outing2

1 Mood Swing
Town was very jam due to Labour Day and the car broke down halfway. Luckily there was a mechanic at the right place and the right time. The original plan of shopping at DP and MP didn't went as planned, but we did go to Jonker instead and have dinner at a small but cozy restaurant(can't remember the name, but they're famous for their 13 states malaysia coffee :p). Oh, and I found out that the streets along Jonker has many interesting shops and museums. Should pay there a visit one day before I grad. lol!

B U T most importantly, we still get to watch X Men Origins Wolverine movie even though the day didn't turn out so well :D

I think this is one of the best movie I have ever watch in 2009 (so far). Love the special effects <3 style="font-style: italic;">yeng! xD

*drools*

ps. another month til my internship. wonder how is it gonna be like.. hmmm~

KL & Genting Trip

2 Mood Swing
[[Finally..late update regarding the trip we had during sem break]]

We made a last minute plan to go on a trip to KL and Genting! It has been ages since I have been to Genting, so naturally I was feeling excited about going after my last trip there was like about 10 years ago ? hehe. And thanks to them we get to stay in free rooms (genting points) :). The whole plan was firstly, we will meet up at Malacca, and then head up to KL for a shopping spree, then the next day we will head to Genting to have FUN! =D

We reached KL around noon, and due to our tight budget and for convenience, we decided to checked in at a budget hotel called Agora Hotel located at Bukit Bintang. Unfortunately, because of time constraint at KL, we only manage to go to Sunway Pyramid to shop for our new year clothes. Chuen and Seek decided to try out ice skating first, while Kang Yong, Jing and I took a walk around. Then the guys went their own separate ways because they can't stand the way girls shop :p Kaka.

Saw this really nice CNY deco there :)

And we decided to take a pic with it..!

They're dancing on ice! xD

We girls went to Nichii to shop for our stuff. Jing manage to find a nice orange sleeveless top to wear for CNY while I bought a pair of black shorts :)

The next day, we took a bus and sat the cable car up to Genting. Plans to meet up with Jo at KL were canceled, so we decided to meet her and wei min at the hotel instead.

The weather was freaking cold at Genting !! (11 celcius). And I thought that people said Genting is getting warmer these days due to global warming =.= .

the CNY decoration there

our nice decent room xD

Did not really do much on the first day there. After dinner, some of them decided to go to the casino . And since I have just reached the legal age to enter, decided to pay a lil visit as well :p

Lesson learnt: Need to have a little skill, loads of luck and bring a lucky charm to gamble next time =.=

The next day, we spend one whole day at the theme park. Had loads of fun there xD. The most thrilling rides for me are the roller coaster and pirate ship.Unfortunately, it was just 4 of us enjoying at the theme park due to certain reasons.

Very foggy in the afternoon

Jing trying her luck with the duck

A new attraction at Genting I guess

And we went home with these goodies(minus eeyore and charcoal) xD.

The famous Ripley's

Though there were slight hiccups along the way, all in all the whole trip was fun and enjoyable :D. Can't wait for the next trip!

Not forgetting a group picture of us :)

A Memorable 21st Birthday :))

2 Mood Swing
I've not been updating my blog for quite some time now. Have been busy enjoying myself and having fun this past week right after my finals :) hehe. Well here's a late update on my 21st birthday bash which falls on 12th January! :D

**The photos are not complete yet though, cause I forgot to bring my phone cable back to transfer the pics from my phone to my lappie. Will update again with the other pics after my hols i guess! heee

Here's roughly what I did on my birthday week:

My first so-called celebration was an early birthday dinner treat with the IT gang: Kei Fai, Jo, Sam and Sharon at a nice pink restaurant called Noodle Bar. Ordered my favourite dish there: spaghetti with ham and cheese, with chocolate milkshake..! Yummy! I totally love the spaghetti with ham n cheese there hehe. Had a great time catching up with them and laughing at their jokes :)

My second celebration is with Chuen, Wei Min, Seek and Jo. First we had a nice japanese dinner at Malacca Raya. Ordered few kinds of japanese dishes and sushi. We even ordered the japanese wine, sake, to sample! Hm in my opinion,I think I'm not really used to the strong taste of sake. Haha :). After dinner, we went to collect the birthday cake from Nadeje and proceed to the outdoor cafe at the Jetty. It was a really nice and windy night to chat and drink beer there. Really love the environment; romantic with soft music playing in the background..lolx. After that went to Jonker for awhile. As the night is still young, we decided to yc at More Cafe. Ordered more drinks and had a nice time playing pickup-the-stick game with them :). This is the night when we seriously kept drinking none stop! XD

The third celebration was on my big day back at JB with my girlfriends! Actually I thought of just having a small celebration with them, just to meet up and catch up with each other. But looks like they had bigger plans for me *grins* I shall not reveal much about the BIG surprise I had received from these special people, but I must really say that all of them are great actors and actresses! HAHA! And I'm really touched by them and someone who took great effort to plan all this out :) Love them loads! Hugss and Muaxx!

A Kung Fu Movie Outing

0 Mood Swing
Yesterday night went and watch a kungfu movie called Ip Man (pronounced "Yip Mun" in Canto, and not I.P Man ;) ). Maybe I've not watch Hong Kong film in a cinema for a long time or maybe, I've always seldom watch kungfu movie, but I must say that Ip Man is really good! Two thumbs up for this movie! A must-watch especially for Chinese people. It is something that we should be proud of =)

Ip Man (played by Donnie Yen) was actually a true story about the life of a grandmaster of Wing Chun during the days of the Japanese Occupation in China, before he fled to Hong Kong with his family after offending the Japanese army there and thus, opening up his own school. He is truly a well respected man in his hometown and a loving husband and father :)

Donnie Yen with his impressive performance

The Wing Chun style kung fu somehow did put us Chinese in a proud stand. Even the Japanese karate can’t beat it. I was also impressed by the fast paced move of every action. Totally awesome!

Ip Man, with one of his student Bruce Lee, in real life.

Heard there's even a sequel to this movie. Hehe can't wait for its released :)

After the movie, went and played pool at Melaka Raya. My second time playing since two years ago during Alpha XD. So can imagine how karat my skills are now lolx. But I had fun :) Wouldn't mind playing again despite losing almost every game. Kaka.

Ps. Btw, HaPpy New YeAr 2009 !!! :)))

Christmas Decorations and Friends

0 Mood Swing
My 3 crazeee girl friends has come all the way from jb to visit me and ye pin at Malacca at last yesterday :) So happy to see them!

these 3 devils angels: Jing Maine Wanli :)

We could only bring them out at night because during the day we're busy with classes and presentation and assignment. Went out with Jo, Tze Chuen and his housemates too as the car rent guy FFK us last minute. Haiz. So after picking them up from DP, we brought them to eat Satay Celup, one of Malacca's famous food.

satay celup. Yummy!

After eating, we brought them to Portugeese Settlement to look at Christmas lights. Met up with Aaron there. This is my third time coming here to look at x'mas lights but my first time taking pictures of it. Though it looks almost the same every year, but looking at it always gives me a nice Christmas mood feeling. Haha.
