A Memorable 21st Birthday :))

I've not been updating my blog for quite some time now. Have been busy enjoying myself and having fun this past week right after my finals :) hehe. Well here's a late update on my 21st birthday bash which falls on 12th January! :D

**The photos are not complete yet though, cause I forgot to bring my phone cable back to transfer the pics from my phone to my lappie. Will update again with the other pics after my hols i guess! heee

Here's roughly what I did on my birthday week:

My first so-called celebration was an early birthday dinner treat with the IT gang: Kei Fai, Jo, Sam and Sharon at a nice pink restaurant called Noodle Bar. Ordered my favourite dish there: spaghetti with ham and cheese, with chocolate milkshake..! Yummy! I totally love the spaghetti with ham n cheese there hehe. Had a great time catching up with them and laughing at their jokes :)

My second celebration is with Chuen, Wei Min, Seek and Jo. First we had a nice japanese dinner at Malacca Raya. Ordered few kinds of japanese dishes and sushi. We even ordered the japanese wine, sake, to sample! Hm in my opinion,I think I'm not really used to the strong taste of sake. Haha :). After dinner, we went to collect the birthday cake from Nadeje and proceed to the outdoor cafe at the Jetty. It was a really nice and windy night to chat and drink beer there. Really love the environment; romantic with soft music playing in the background..lolx. After that went to Jonker for awhile. As the night is still young, we decided to yc at More Cafe. Ordered more drinks and had a nice time playing pickup-the-stick game with them :). This is the night when we seriously kept drinking none stop! XD

The third celebration was on my big day back at JB with my girlfriends! Actually I thought of just having a small celebration with them, just to meet up and catch up with each other. But looks like they had bigger plans for me *grins* I shall not reveal much about the BIG surprise I had received from these special people, but I must really say that all of them are great actors and actresses! HAHA! And I'm really touched by them and someone who took great effort to plan all this out :) Love them loads! Hugss and Muaxx!

Was doing my marketing tutorial just now but in the end I give up because I don't know what the hell am I writing. There are only 5 girls in my group, but I do not understand why do we have to stand at the back of all the guys, which result in our faces being half-blocked by them. So not gentlemen at all. Hm.

1 Litre of Tears Drama

I have just finished watching one of the most famous J Drama ever, 1 Litre of Tears. Well you can guess from the title already that it is a freaking sad story, especially towards the end. But it's really touching though :) Cause you'll feel that you'll learn a lot from Aya's words and also feel her helplessness while facing this incurable disease.

Synopsis: 1 Litre of Tears (1リットルの涙, Ichi Rittoru no Namida) is a Japanese television drama by Fuji Television about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old.

The plot is based on the true story of a Japanese girl named Aya Kito (木藤亜也, 19 July 1962 - 23 May 1988), who had the same disease.

She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen.

Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up.

Her diary 1 Litre of Tears was published shortly after her death. It encouraged many people, healthy or diseased, because of its inspiring and courageous messages.

One of the very few dramas which manage to make my eyes teared while watching it T.T

Really Sweet and Touching

The incredible story of a lion cub bought over the counter at Harrods in London, reared as a pet in a furniture store by two young Australians, who was then freed into the wild in Kenya, has become an internet sensation.



I think it's one of the sweetest story ever :)

New Template !

Changed my blog template again. Lolx. Though the previous template's design is nice but I don't like the narrow space given for the widgets. It's supposed to be a-3 column template but in the end, I've to changed it to 2-column instead 'cause it could not fit my "fat" widgets.

Spend days hunting for the perfect 3-column template which could fit my widgets, and I've finally found one from BTemplates. I think this website is perfect for Blogger users who also love Wordpress Themes (like me!). There are many nice Wordpress template designs here to choose from. Highly recommended ! ^^

Chess Game

Recently I'm quite addicted to one pc game. Can't stop playing these few days. Kaka.. introducing *drum roll*

ChessMaster! xD

The reason why I started playing this is because I took Chess as my CoCu subject. But having no basic in chess and not understanding what the lecturer is talking about in class, I feel so lost. Then Jo introduced to me this pc game. It's really easier to understand after playing a few rounds of game in it. The graphic is nice too. And one of the best part of ChessMaster is this!

Cute 'rabbits' in the chess game! lolz. It's really cute and funny watching these rabbits hitting one another when they "eat" each other XD

So after 8 losses in a row, finally the game is draw by Stalemate
(means no one wins). Not bad for a beginner la XD

Conclusion: ChessMaster is great for people who wishes to learn chess in a fun way! :)
